Delicious and healthy breakfast idea
One of the best breakfasts or snacks, in my opinion, is chia pudding, which is not only an amazing way to start the day but also quenches your thirst and reduces your appetite until the next meal.
Chia seeds are rich in fibre, protein and antioxidants and contain healthy fats.
Here’s my recipe for this delicious chocolate Chai pudding.
CHOCOLATE CHIA PUDDING
Ingredients:
100g chia seeds
750g chilled coconut drink
50g coconut nectar
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp maca powder
pinch of cinnamon
favourite fruits for topping
Preparation – Thermomix:
Place a small bowl on top of mixing bowl lid and weigh in chia seeds then set aside. Insert butterfly whisk.
Place coconut drink, coconut nectar, maca powder, cocoa powder and a pinch of cinnamon in mixing bowl then mix 5 seconds on speed 4.
Then set Thermomix for 15 min on reverse speed 3 and slowly add chia seeds through hole in mixing bowl lid, place measuring cup on.
When ready divide between serving glasses and top with favourite fruits.
In my experience, Thermomix makes the best chia pudding ever, but if you haven’t got one simply mix all well and fridge overnight.
