Goodbye summer… you were so strange this year!
Summer this year went extremely quick and it was so different than ever before. The whole Covid situation, stress at work, not so great weather where I live… But most important I am so grateful! I was lucky enough to be still able to travel this summer. I’ve visited my family in Poland and also been in Norway. Travelling abroad feels like a luxury nowadays, don’t you think? How was your summer? Did you manage to travel anywhere, at home country or abroad? Please share your experience in the comments section below.
Here are a few photos I took this summer – my little summer 2020 memories:
Tarnow, Poland – June 2020
Oslo, Norway – August 2020
But summer is nearly over, what’s next?
My plan for September is to get a little more organized and start spending my mornings and evenings wisely. First, I plan to work on my morning and evening routines. Second, I want to go back to my daily planning and stop procrastinating in the evenings. What am I planning to do to achieve this?
My Miracle Morning
Returning to the morning ritual is something I promised myself several times over the past few months, but it has never been realized. I will be doing a separate post about this once I complete my fresh first month. But quickly explaining, The Miracle Morning is a morning practice created by Hal Elrod where you get up each morning with a plan to complete an hour of self-development, reflection, and exercise before moving on to the rest of your day. I did this a few months ago and it really made me feel amazing. I want to feel like this again so look forward to going back to my early mornings!
Cookidoo Meal planning
I’ve noticed that I am not cooking as much recently. Or I’m just not cooking new dishes, having the same dinners over and over again. So in September, I am doing a proper meal planner using my favourite platform – Cookidoo. Would you like a whole post of how it works and how I plan my weekly meals?
Every evening before bed I am going to complete gratitude journal and plan my next day. At the moment I am using Ella Iconic CEO of my own life planner and I actually really like it. But I am working on my own digital planner for 2021, fingers crossed I will manage to do it before the end of the year.
Instagram Photo Challenge
Last, but not least a little September photo challenge. Instagram is a platform I’m still the most active on, so I thought I would run a September challenge there to help with my consistency and productivity. Why in September? Because September is a month when most of us are losing motivation. The summer is nearly over, weather start getting miserable and everyone is returning to normality. So I thought why not to keep a positive spirit and run #positiveseptember challenge. Would you like to join?
To join me, all you need to do is add a photo to your wall or Instagram story every day (or just some days, all is up to you really). I even created templates that you can use if you want. Just add it to your phone album by screenshotting it from my story highlights (or copy the one below), then add it to your story every day throughout September with a photo matching the topic of the day. At the end of the challenge, all participants will receive a nice surprise email from me with some great templates I have created. So I hope you will join!
So that would be all for now, please follow my daily journey on Instagram to find out how my September goes. I am thinking of adding more posts this type in the future, not only ones that inspire you to bake and cook delicious food but also these to influence you to create a positive lifestyle.
Happy September everyone!
