Raising my vibrations in January 2023

Hello January – a new month full of inspiration and motivation is here!


Raise your hand if you’re ready for a fresh start! Me… I am definitely ready! There’s something about a new year that just feels hopeful and refreshing. So, there is no better time to start something new (or something again) than January, isn’t it? Because the New Year has magic in it. The magic of the new.

I’m starting this New Year with joy, hope and lots of good thoughts and positive vibes.



My word for 2023


At the turn of the old and new year, I choose a word that is to guide the following months. The idea of choosing one word is about making that word the motive of all our actions in the near future.

As I was pondering my word for 2023, it came to me – B A L A N C E.

This year I will be searching for balance in all aspects of my life, as I feel that I really need it after the stressful second part of 2022.





Maintaining a healthy balance in life is essential. Balance gives us happiness, well-being and a sense of accomplishment. It allows us to have control over various aspects of life, making us feel calm, grounded and motivated.

So in 2023, I am going to create balance in my life by bringing small and simple habits to my every day, but also by doing more things that bring me joy and raise positive vibrations around me. I am simply gonna fall in love with my life again!







Building habits that would raise my vibration


If you want different life you need to implement different habits! So how am I going to raise my vibrations this year? Of course, by putting into practice small habits. The habits that are healthy for body and spirit, and will make me happy and raise my vibration on a daily basis. Those habits are tiny, only positive. But most of all, if I perform them with consistency and discipline, they will become my routine. And there is nothing more I would love than to have an amazing routine.


So here are the new high-vibe habits I bring about in 2023:

  • cooking more healthy, sustainable and colourful foods and just relishing a balanced diet
  • more nature walks – getting my body moving while appreciating the benefit of sunshine and fresh air
  • having ‘me time’ mornings with reading, learning, meditating, journaling and doing anything possible to look well after my soul
  • practicing gratitude daily and creating a ‘win list’ during the year
  • doing more things that bring me joy – enjoying my monthly bucket lists
  • keeping my space tidy and regularly decluttering
  • practicing creativity with love, compassion and excitement
  • listening to more music that makes me happy and reduces my stress


If you decide to implement habits like those yourself, please remember more of the lighter, higher vibrations would bring you more happiness, more joy, and more love.

January Bucket list and mood board


A mood board is simply a collection of images and one of the best ways to filter our ideas and give a voice to what feels inspiring at the moment. I’m a very visual person, so for me, this is a way of creating my dream month.

Personal mood boards can be broken up into 12 months or four seasons of the year (if you prefer). It can help us to be more positive and joyful, set achievable goals, both aspire and be inspired, visualise things we want to do, and identify new skills and ideas we want to pursue. So my idea for 2023 is to create a mood board at the beginning of each month to keep me in a happy spirit during it.

And then I also created an experience list for this month, with a few small ideas that I would enjoy doing and creating amazing memories with. Things that would simply bring me joy and put a smile on my face.

Bucket lists are one of my favorite lists to make. So creating the January one was so much fun. And maybe this list inspires you to create your own.

I believe that the New Year will be simply good and that every day would bring us beautiful moments. And I’m just hoping that January’s motivation sticks around for a bit longer… but let’s be kind to ourselves. We don’t have to change right away. Little new habits we embody in our life would create slow but consistent progress, and that’s the way to success!
